Due to the Covid pandemic, not only do you need a visa to travel to Belgium for a longer period of time, but a number of other documents must also be completed. Here you will find an overview of the current steps you need to take to travel to Belgium.

 
Public consultation

The European Commission has decided to launch a public consultation on the perspective of digitalisation of the visa procedure (E-visa) and on the creation of an EU online visa application portal, aimed at a target audience: the travel industry, European agencies directly or indirectly linked to the EU visa policy, visa applicants and the general public. Planning a business trip or family vacation to Belgium? Want to work or study in Belgium? You might need to apply for a visa at the Belgian Embassy prior to your departure.

A difference is made between short and long stays (up to / over 90 days). Check the procedures below to make sure you meet all requirements to enter and stay in Belgium.

 
Short stays (up to 90 days) 

Korean passport holders no longer need a visa to travel to Belgium (and the rest of the Schengen area) for short term stays.

 
Long stays (over 90 days)
